Legends of Norrath

More on Ten Ton Hammer

As an online trading card game, Legends of Norrath falls just inside the bounds of covered material for Ten Ton Hammer, but it's truly paid attention to because of its parent game, Everquest. Like any online TCG, Legends of Norrath allows players to buy packs of cards to try to bulid a deck that will win tournaments and/or individual matches against a variety of opponents. After you've opened a few packs, you can trade with other players to try to find the optimum rare for your game.

Where gaming is concerned, you have lots of options to create immensely powerful decks or bring out cards that are just asking for a time in the spotlight. Deck strategies are often posted online and you can either use these guides or develop your own strategy that will stump your opponent. There's no lack of strategy in this game.

But the best part of the game is looking at all the cards that have ties to Everquest. As you're passing through your decks, you'll see a variety of different cards that will remind you of both EQ and EQ2. Lord Nagafen, Emperor Crushbone, Fippy Darkpaw, and a variety of other monsters and heroes have all been included in the game.

Legends of Norrath has released a number of expansion packs making hundreds of individual cards available.
