Today is Dragon Age: Origins Day! Even though not an official holiday, it should be. BioWare's biggest RPG hits the shelves today, and Ten Ton Hammer Executive Editor, Benjamin J. de la Durantaye, has a hard time deciding which version of the game to buy. With ports for the PC, Xbox, and PS3, the decision isn't an easy one; but in the end, will it matter? Find out in Loading... Dragon Age Origins - Now Available on the Everything.

Playing it on the big screen sounds great but she who must be obeyed may have a big say in it. Chris (spouse) watches lots of TV and does not play games so for me it is easier to play on my PC.
Saving up to get a new LCD for the PC, say 27 or 30 inch but 32 would be great.

Bummer to hear, Boom. I buy almost exclusively through D2D - even my MMOs (when they're available there) and ne'er had a problem with it. Though I usually pay with my US credit card... maybe they don't like the Canadian thing?

I give up! I didn't even have this on my radar. Where's the ttn homepage for it? Anyone get it yet on 360 or PC. I have to decide too! I have a ps3 but doubt its a good choice for platform.

My decision wasn't so much what platform to buy it for, but who to purchase it from.
I'm not a fan of digital downloads. I much prefer a box, DVD and printed manual, even if said manual is normally useless.
DA:O won't be where I live for a day or two, so digital download is my only option if I can't wait.
I prefer Direct2Drive over Steam, mainly because of the DRM issues with Steam. That said, D2D didn't work for me. I tried to give them money, but they just kept kicking me...
