How much are you willing to pay for an online subscription fee? Millions, obviously, are willing to pay at least $15 a month. But what happens when you want to play more than one game? Your options are usually pretty limited, but that may soon change. More and more games are trying new subscription models, and to some of them, that means a whole new life breathed into the game. Today we take a look at what going F2P means to title in Loading... Free to MMO.

I only regularly pay for one MMO at a time, but I've been well known to overlap subscriptions when I get bored of my current one while I start the next.

As I wrote in the other thread about F2P models, I'm really starting to love them cause we get to play for free, and even though many of us never or rarely spend money on them, there is a huge percentage of the player-base that does and they spend well above the normal $15 monthly fee of a P2P MMO.

Yeah, I'd have to greatly disagree with you there cause I've played a ton of F2P...

In DDO you can not play all the content for free, Adventure packs must be purchased if you don't have a subscription.

And is it me, or has there been a huge number of DDO articles on this site since it went free to play? The whole free to play concept around here at TTH had died off completely, yet it has miraculously revived since Turbine joined the bandwagon.
