Aion's Manastones are the little wonderful blessings that allow for players to customize their character and manipulate their stats. You really don’t want to waste those slots though and it isn’t always clear which stones will benefit your class the most.

Get into the habit of imbuing your armor early on, and know where your manastone removal NPC is for when you want to update your stones. These NPCs sometimes offer quests that allow you to trade in manastones that you can’t use for those that you can use. A mage, for example, can turn over combat manastones in exchange for magic focused stones.

This guide will not only explain manastones, but will also give recommendations for your class to get you started!

All the research in the world doesn't beat player experience! Please post your own manastone recommendations for your class here for other players to use as a reference.

The Guide doesnt have a ling from the main page... Just from the forum here. (by link I mean the part that says "This Guide will not only explain Manastones.....")

Also, for Rangers I have done some research on this myself, and it seems you should be stacing Phys. Crit until the soft cap of 440. From there you will either want Attack, or HP (for more pvp survivability).

The Phys. Crit is so important to a Ranger, because when we crit (many times) we will stun our oppenent. This ...

Doh. Thanks Protect! Apparently working under the influence of cold medicine is less than helpful.

And now that I've had more coffee and time to comment...

I've noticed that the crit damage is a huge part of my Assassin's damage. I can get amazing bursts and while it isn't always reliable, getting that extra boost has saved my ass repeatedly. For the scouts, I think that adding +crit is definitely the way to go above all else.

As a chanter I don't find much problem with Accuracy and such, but the added effects of my crits (stuns/knockbacks) are, well, critical to both solo and group play as a melee class. In PVP *especially* stuns and knockbacks are critical! This is why Phys Crit stones are so expensive -- because they are good for anyone but Sorc/SMs.

I hate manastones, I go out questing and my bag fills up within minutes of starting with manastones. Then I can't sell them because EVERYONE is selling them.
