Age of Conan Game Director Update for 2009

Posted November 18th, 2008 by Medeor

Updates are being updated for Age of Conan.

According to a lengthy discussion from Game Director Craig Morrison, next year is going to be a busy one for the developers and players of Age of Conan. In addition to reviewing the latest content additions such as Ymir's Pass and Direct X10 support, Craig discusses what is coming up:

"...we will have two brand new dungeon locations in the next game update. Situated in Thunder River both will be aimed at maximum level players. The Slaughter House Cellar is a single player level 80 instance and Xibaluku is a large team instanced dungeon aimed at the same level range. Xibaluku has a great series of new and interesting boss encounters spanning several hours of game-play.

There are other topics such as Tarantia the outdoor playfield and more technical housekeeping items being addressed as well. For the whole discussion, go to Age of Conan's Community.

In related news, don't forget to read the latest recap of some AoC PvP exploits and Funcom's response in Savanja's latest editorial, The Nature of Winning.
