It would seem like a major money-maker for Blizz, like they really need anymore.

We could tell you more, but then we'd be shot
Blizzard chief executive Mike Morhaime is letting us know that the much anticipated (and somewhat feared) Warcraft movie is still moving forward. Even though the project has been in the works for more than a year now, and there still isn't a director on board, Mr. Morhaime says the script is being written.
In other words, it ain't coming anytime soon - but they'd still like to do it.
Though no director has been set for the movie, the film is said to be set a year before the events of the game and fix on an all-new hero.
Mr. Morhaime wanted to share more with the community, but would have been shot if he did. Wise choice there, keeping quiet.

Otherwise, I'm all for film adaptations of games, but Hollywood is still stuck in that same phase that comic book films initially went though - in other words the source material isn't taken seriously and the screenwriters / directors aren't a good match for the pr...

Kill it. Kill it with fire. Then kill it some more. Then shoot Uwe Boll, just to be on the safe side.
