After we posted our last Aion Emotes Video for male Elyos, many members of our community wanted to see what the female emotes looked like. This week we are giving the people what they want. We have put together a video to give you a look at the emotes for Asmodian females.

Ten Ton Hammer's Reuben "Sardu" Waters spoke with Aion Associate Lani Blazier at PAX 2009, and Lani shared more information on what's included with Patch 1.5. Lani will show off some much requested UI and character model improvements and talk a bit about the "training camp" being prepared to help players adjust to Aion's PvPvE environment in the mid-levels.

Next, Lani will take us headlong into the Abyss to show us exactly what PvPvE means in a tactical sense. We'll take on the AI-controlled balaur and confront one of the instance's mini-bosses, then end with a look at the Dark Poeta instance - an alternate history look at a now-beautiful Elyos zone had the rifts remained open and the Balaur and Asmodians been allowed to storm in. The Sorcerer manipulates Aether to use the power of the elements to smite down their enemies. NCsoft recently released a batch of screenshots and a few details about the arcane class of Aion.

The Sorcerer
The Sorcerer is a Daeva who follows the Star of Magic. They are able to freely wield the destructive power if the natural elements: Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. A sorcerer is a scholar at heart, evident by the books and orbs they normally carry with them. However, these items can be dangerous weapons in their hands as they help to increase a Sorcerer’s power.

NCSoft graced us with three new videos from San Diego Comic Con 2009. The first is an official video showing off Aion character creation options, emphasizing the Elyos side of things. The next two videos show some in-demand high level gameplay for both races. Have a look!

Aion has been a hot topic in MMORPG news over the last few months and that isn't about to change anytime soon. This week NCsoft released several new screenshots and details for the Scout class. Players who choose the path of a scout will eventually choose between becoming an Assassin or a Ranger. Today we have details and screenshots for both.

Rangers are experienced Scouts who have shunned the idea of working within a regular military unit, choosing instead to work alone or in specialist teams. They are solitary figures with finely honed survival instincts and the ability to endure even in the harshest of environments. Regarding their weaponry, Rangers are expert archers, and can set traps in anticipation of an oncoming enemy. Trained in the use of daggers, so are able to engage in combat regardless of the enemy’s proximity.

With Aion already well into its life cycle over in Korea, North American gamers are itching to get their hands on the game. Unfortunately, a beta testing schedule has yet to be established in North America, but recently NCsoft delivered the next best thing.
